As Joe Biden heads to Saudi Arabia to BEG for more oil, NV Dem Sen. Cortez Masto accuses Adam Laxalt of ties to Big Oil

Nevada Dem Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto is out with a new ad claiming her opponent in the upcoming U.S. Senate race, Republican Adam Laxalt, “has been on the side of Big Oil for years” and “that’s why they bankrolled groups that spent millions to elect him governor”:

With President Joe Biden on the way to Saudi Arabia to beg for more oil, we’re not sure this is the dunk she thinks it is. Maybe Nevada voters want someone with ties to U.S. Big Oil?

And she’s hoping voters aren’t smart enough to see through her BS. Her problem? Voters *are* smart enough and they know EVs aren’t the answer:

FWIW, a poll in late march by NewsNation of 1086 registered voters found only 4.75% of respondents blamed Republicans in Congress for the higher oil prices while 33.03% blamed President Biden and 21.47% blamed oil companies:
