Meet Tay Anderson, vice president of the Denver School Board. He threatened to mandate masks through the district’s dress code policy if the county dropped a mask requirement in schools:
I don’t believe this will be an issue in Denver Public Schools, BUT if our district moves to lift the mask mandate like other metro school districts I am prepared to bring forth a policy to add masks to our district dress code.

But Mr. Tough Talk doesn’t have the votes to enact his scheme:

He then released a statement citing the CDC’s bogus mask study on why he still thinks masks in school are important but he will follow the county recommendations:
Today the Denver Department of Public Health & Environment has announced the end of the mask mandate in Denver Public Schools, effectively ending the two-year public health crisis in Denver known as COVID-19.
