The waterfall is a popular tourist destination in Minas Gerais, a state in southeastern Brazil:

A different video circulating on social media show other boaters desperately trying to warn the boats next to the cliff of the impending danger:
Translation: Another video circulating on the networks shows that the first signs of the fall of the stone in Capitol Hill were seen by people who were there, about a minute before the tragedy. Some of them tried to warn passengers of the nearest boats about the danger.
