As Omicron continues to infect the fully-vaccinated across America, Dave Rubin called out Twitter for forcing him to delete a tweet back in July that questioned a federal vaccine mandate since vaccines and boosters were not working as promised:
Remember way back in July when I was banned by Twitter for saying that mandates were coming, vaccines weren’t working as promised and they’re gonna demand we all take boosters?
Oh, the memories… pic.twitter.com/C0Hh248ydu

It was wrong for Twitter to ask him to delete it in July, especially since about a month later the CDC admitted this was the case:
“Our vaccines are working exceptionally well,” CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky tells @wolfblitzer. “They continue to work well for Delta, with regard to severe illness and death – they prevent it. But what they can't do anymore is prevent transmission." pic.twitter.com/s83YyBQqeh

Also, one reason why the outbreak is so severe in New York City right now is that there was a false sense of security that the city’s vaccine passport scheme was keeping people from getting infected. Whoops:
Yep…it was clear the vaccines were not working – they cannot hide it now… https://t.co/B3bRjfDKEW

Twitter *should* apologize for this, but we doubt they will:
Does @TwitterSafety ever apologize for making mistakes like this?

Yeah. This does seem to be happening quite a bit of late:
we go from "insane conspiracy theory" to "it's always been this way" in record time these days https://t.co/XyUnsLoEF0
