Texas Lt. Gov Dan Patrick pays out $25,000 bounty for proof of voter fraud to Pennsylvania lib

Well, this isn’t going how he thought it would.

Months ago, Texas’ GOP Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick offered up to a $1 million bounty to those who could deliver proof of voter fraud:

From his announcement at the time:

HOUSTON TX – Lt. Governor Dan Patrick announced that starting today he will pay up to $1 million to incentivize, encourage and reward people to come forward and report voter fraud. Whistleblowers and tipsters should turn over their evidence to local law enforcement. Anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and final conviction of voter fraud will be paid a minimum of $25,000.

Well, he just cut his first $25,000 check. . .

. . .but it didn’t go to a Republican. The recipient of the cash is a liberal poll worker from Pennsylvania who tipped Patrick off to “a single conviction of illegal voting by a registered Republican”:

In this case, the Republican had voted twice:

And this guy was very happy to get the check, saying it “kind of blew up in their face”:

And, yes, he did cash the check:
