The Intercept posted a trash video today attempting to discredit Julio Rosas from our sister-site, Townhall.com.
Oh, what a BIG mistake this is:
Meet the Riot Squad: Right-Wing Reporters Whose Viral Videos Are Used to Smear BLM

Rosas’ response: I stand by work and The Intercept can f*** off”:
So I watched the full video and since The Intercept did not reach out to me for comment I'll say this: I stand by my work and The Intercept can fuck off. https://t.co/12ANYWT9Kp

Maybe they SHOULD have reached out to him?
The video goes to great length to claim I only focus on when people are rioting or fighting. Yes, I tweeted videos of such moments, but I have noted in my coverage when things are peaceful, like here in Kenosha: https://t.co/FdeMzGhmvA

It’s what journos do:
The video spends most of the time talking about I went to cover many BLM riots, since they were happening almost all the time last year, but it barely mentions how I covered the Capitol riot because guess what? I'll accurately cover any riot because that's my job.

And Rosas’ many reports from the field were incredibly fair:
Here is a simple truth: BLM/Antifa supporters and activists rioted in American cities for much of last year. I just happened to be one of the few who were willing to document it. I also noted when BLM supporters tried to stop rioters: https://t.co/r90H0nh61Y

It really was a trash report:
This is why people hate the media. Some would rather try to discredit the hard work of others because they are reporting the facts. I work hard to ensure I report accurately in these chaotic situations because I know that as soon as I don't, all of my credibility is gone.

And give Rosas a follow as he’s off to the border for us next:
I have more thoughts on this but I'm getting ready to leave to go report at the U.S.-Mexico border for @townhallcom, so thanks to @RobertMackey and @TravisMannon for the free publicity and for beclowning yourselves. Let me know if you want to do a failed smear piece on that too.
