During a press conference earlier today, New York Governor called out politicians who use subways as a “photo op” and made the suspect claim that he’s actually spent more time on the NYC subway than any other governor:
Cuomo: "I, as governor, don't really ride the (subway) system as a commuter, the subway doesn't really go to Albany."
He says photographing pols on mass transit more of a photo op. But he adds he's making visits at odd hours to check on the status of construction, rehab efforts

“I don’t think you’ve had a governor who has spent more time in the subways than I have,” he told the reporters. But it’s at “1 o’clock in the morning” so that’s why nobody knows about it:

This comment came during a back-and-forth with a reporter who challenged Cuomo saying the number of homeless in the subway system had gone down in recent months:
