The Daily Beast’s Blake Montgomery said on a local political show in California that Caitlyn Jenner had actually contracted with former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale ahead of a potential gubernatorial run if Gov. Gavin Newsom does, in fact, face a recall election later this year.
“And the other adviser that she’s contracted is former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale,” Montgomery says:
“These are controversial, well-known figures.” @thedailybeast @blakersdozen to @NikkiLaurenzo on Republican fundraisers @Caitlyn_Jenner has reportedly contracted for a potential campaign run on #InsideCAPolitics pic.twitter.com/olG1WXP4K0

Jenner, however, called the report “FakeNews” and asked Montgomery to “show me the contracts”:
#FakeNews show me the contracts

Parscale also tweeted that hasn’t written a contract:
Interesting since I haven’t written one. https://t.co/zEcXoTYnjD

There’s also no indication the two have talked much recently:
We met in Portugal 4-5 years ago? At a speaking engagement. Haven’t talked much since. How have you been?

Of note, Montgomery did not say Jenner at contracted with Parscale in his original Daily Beast report, only that he was “advising” the reality TV star:
Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Brad Parscale is advising Caitlyn Jenner on a potential run for governor of California, a person with knowledge of the matter confirmed to The Daily Beast on Wednesday evening.
