Actor Kevin Costner, who once made a baseball movie in Iowa, endorsed Pete Buttigieg for President today in Iowa:

Does this carry any weight whatsoever in Iowa, however? Do they really care what a Hollywood celeb has to say?

Actor Kevin Costner in Iowa says he’s voting for Pete Buttigieg.

“He won’t compete to be the loudest. I don’t see his arms flapping,” Costner says at campaign event at Indianola high school. “He doesn’t have to yell.”

We’ll find out we guess in a few weeks:

Actor Kevin Costner, the star of "Field of Dreams" and "Dances With Wolves," will endorse South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg this weekend, the campaign announced. The two-time Academy Award winner will introduce Buttigieg in Iowa. https://t.co/wLKou9i927 pic.twitter.com/BlnYsrFJiS

But in the meantime, Mayor Wine Cave is having new donor issues after an email surface that’s “unusually blunt — even by modern pay-to-play standards”:

SCOOP: In a recent email exchange with a wealthy prospective donor, a top fundraiser for Pete Buttigieg made an offer that was unusually blunt — even by modern pay-to-play standards. https://t.co/Ho5zMjSf33

This won’t end well for the Mayor:
