President Trump tweeted his congratulations to the team:

Congratulations to the Washington Nationals on a great season and an incredible World Series. Game 7 was amazing! @Nationals

As did Kellyanne Conway:

#Nationals win #WorldSeries2019!!

These #Yankees fans transplanted to DC have enjoyed cheering for the home team. #NLCS championship and #WorldSeries games with my son=priceless. pic.twitter.com/xHuBGxZcN6

And as she pointed out on Fox News, this is a trend in DC that started once President Trump took office:

Kellyanne Conway on Fox: “Since Pres Trump came to office, the Capitals, the hockey team, the Mystics & the Nationals have won their first championship."

Steve: Are you saying the President deserves the credit for Nationals winning?

Kellyanne: The credit goes to the athletes.
