Apparently Bloomberg Politics learned nothing from the Washington Post’s atrocious headline on the death of terror leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and offered up this fawning version of their own:
Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi transformed himself from a little-known teacher of Koranic recitation into the self-proclaimed ruler of an entity that covered swaths of Syria and Iraq https://t.co/CNI5XBsoai

So, how many journos will do this today?
How many journos will praise Abu Bakr al Baghdadi today???? https://t.co/s2CoseqGBU

Here's another one.
How many news outlets will beclown themselves today.
Stunning. https://t.co/Pow3iw1yLa— Scott Jennings (@ScottJenningsKY) October 27, 2019
They left out this part:
3. What is going on?
He was a terrorist and rapist! @bpolitics pic.twitter.com/3AZERT7XkU

A well-read rapist:
“Yeah, Baghdadi did a lot of rapes and beheadings and stuff, but man, checkout his bookshelf!” https://t.co/jyXlL23zqe

And it’s a real rags-to-riches story:
There’s also the beheading and slaving, but other than that it’s a real Horatio Alger story. https://t.co/RCol9pwd1I

Just a good old-fashioned “rags to riches” story. It’s a shame the good ones have to die so young, eh @bpolitics? https://t.co/6aIF6V7Hnp

Classic up-from-the-bootstraps story. The coastal elitists in Beirut and Latakia may scoff at this, but the folks in the Real Levant get it. https://t.co/aKGaGGSHLG

What a day they’re having:
Someone clearly didn't learn from @washingtonpost's mistake. Just look at #WaPoDeathNotices https://t.co/Pm40AaMAOY pic.twitter.com/fqbhk50qMp
