Chef José Andrés is on the ground in the Bahamas and getting ready to start feeding survivors

With mass devastation reported in the Bahamas, it’s clear the island nation is going to need a lot of help in the coming days/weeks/months/years:

With that said, celebrity chef José Andrés is already in the Bahamas on Nassau, which is about 80 miles south of where Dorian hit, and getting ready to help feed the survivors:

From what we’re seeing, it looks like the people will need to be evacuated as well as fed:
