Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller just finished his opening statement and stated that he will not be answering any questions on the Steele dossier or the beginning of the FBI investigation:
Mueller makes clear he has no plans to discuss the origin of the FBI investigation before his appointment or the Steele dossier, despite GOP plans to grill him on those matters.

Mueller says he can't talk about subjects that Republicans want to ask him about. He said, I am not able to answer questions about the Steele dossier or the FBI investigation into Russia's meddling of the election.
"The report is my testimony and I will stay in that text."

Watch:
MUELLER: "I am unable to address questions about the initial opening of the FBI's Russia investigation, which occurred months before my appointment, or matters related to the so-called 'Steele Dossier.’ These matters are subject of ongoing review by the department." pic.twitter.com/mg0IZSI5vS

Well, that’s “convenient”
Mueller just said will refuse to answer any questions about Christopher Steele, his garbage Clinton-funded dossier, or the origins of his own investigation.
Convenient.

He also won’t answer any questions about AG William Barr:
MUELLER: “I do not intend to summarize or describe the results of our work in a different way in the course of my testimony today. As I said on May 29: the report is my testimony. And I will stay within that text.”
Also won’t comment on “actions” of Barr or Congress. https://t.co/ie9F7gU9Mw
