ICYMI last night, a federal judge put on hold a Justice Department plan to swap out attorneys on the Census case until the old lawyer sign affidavits as to why they need to be taken off the case:

And this morning, President Trump lashed out at the judge over the move:
So now the Obama appointed judge on the Census case (Are you a Citizen of the United States?) won’t let the Justice Department use the lawyers that it wants to use. Could this be a first?

In other words, if the attorneys provide the judge with the information he wants, the swap can happen:
