YIKES: Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel seen 'visibly shaking' during outdoor event in Berlin [video]

German Chancellor Angela Merkel was seen “visibly shaking” during an outdoor event in Berlin today which she later “laughed off” and blamed not having drunk enough water. Watch for yourself:

German Chancellor Angela Merkel appeared unsteady and was visibly shaking as she greeted the new Ukrainian leader in the hot sun in Berlin.

She later laughed it off, saying that she clearly hadn't drunk enough water. https://t.co/jovHOA2RgK pic.twitter.com/yEKe4BSsuC

And, no, this isn’t fake news:

Having double-checked our source material — and from multiple angles — we can assure the skeptics among us: Merkel's shaking is real.

And here's what the chancellor herself had to say about it ? pic.twitter.com/4gDboTDlAu

As Hillary Clinton learned in 2016, “laughing” this off and just telling voters that everything is fine is probably not the best course of action:

"Since then I have drunk at least three glasses of water – I obviously needed that and so I'm doing very well now," says #Germany Chancellor Merkel after she appeared unsteady and was visibly shaking when greeting #Ukraine President @ZelenskyyUa in Berlin. pic.twitter.com/hfPrlJ6hlt
