Chris Matthews is at it again, this time comparing working as a political staffer to slavery. But there’s a twist on this inappropriate comment. One of his panelists, Juanita Tolliver, ripped into him for making the comparison. Check it out:
Just now on MSNBC's Hardball with Chris Matthews@HardballChris: "You've worked for politicians….they all insist on slavery?"@JuanitaTolliver: "Come on you're talking to a woman of color here, nothing compares to what happened to my ancestors.". pic.twitter.com/jjprCOlewK

He can’t stop, won’t stop:
NO CHRIS. NOOOOOOO. https://t.co/0lV5Z7yQWs

And it’s about time one of his panelists called him out in real time:
Good for her.

As you saw in the video, he even doubled-down on the dumb comment and she was having none of it:
He then doubled down after she respectfully checked him.

Matthews had already irked libs earlier in the week with something he said to Kamala Harris:
Seriously? Between this and that metaphor with Kamala…horrible.

With Harris, he compared waiving executive privilege to losing your virginity, as in “once you’ve given it up you can’t grab it back”:
Chris Matthews: “Executive privilege is like virginity… Once you’ve given it up you can’t grab it back.”
Kamala Harris: “I’m not gonna go with you on that metaphor, Chris.” pic.twitter.com/n7p7aOeaT3
