President Donald Trump took to Twitter Friday night to call out social media giants Twitter and Facebook for their recent actions on conservative users, including Twitchy favorite James Woods:
So surprised to see Conservative thinkers like James Woods banned from Twitter, and Paul Watson banned from Facebook! https://t.co/eHX3Z5CMXb
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 3, 2019
Woods wasn’t actually suspended from Twitter, but he has been locked out of his account for sending a tweet after the Mueller report cleared the president of collusion that included the hashtag #HangThemAll:
Of course Twitter doesn’t inform his followers. @RealJamesWoods has received the following email: pic.twitter.com/2nnnVBVktQ

A Twitter spokesperson said that if Woods were to delete the tweet, which isn’t on his public timeline, he can get his account back:
From a Twitter spox on the current timeout of James Woods' account:
"He's been told that all he needs to do is delete the tweet that violates our rules and the account access will be restored."

Anyway, Woods’ girlfriend, Sara Miller, tweeted a thank you to the president for his tweet:
James thanks you, Mr. President, for defending free speech. @RealJamesWoods @realDonaldTrump https://t.co/p67zpzNdzQ

This is not the first time Twitter locked out Woods over a tweet. Last year they took action over this obvious parody photo he tweeted out:
For those asking, Jimmy sent out this email to his friends today. He hasn’t made any press statements, this expresses his feelings on the matter. #FreeJamesWoods @RealJamesWoods pic.twitter.com/6y1kvKhgVX

And get ready for more tweets like this from the president:
I am continuing to monitor the censorship of AMERICAN CITIZENS on social media platforms. This is the United States of America — and we have what’s known as FREEDOM OF SPEECH! We are monitoring and watching, closely!!
