So, it looks like Dems and the media are really going all-in on this and will just pretend that Virginia’s Democratic governor didn’t say the exact thing that President Trump repeated at his rally in Green Bay this weekend:
I guess we're just going to pretend Northam wasn't talking about born infants who survived an attempted abortion?

We told you earlier about how Obama bro Dan Pfeifer missed the part about Northam, but here’s Rep. Ilhan Omar as well:
This is truly dangerous and sickening!
Is this deranged President suggesting parents and doctors are working together to commit infanticide?
We have seen religious fanatics bombing clinics and threatening women, this will fan the flame of violence.
Stop the misinformation. https://t.co/Ad2ysWpDh9

They’re really going to gaslight us like this?
No, it's the Governor of Virginia, Madam. https://t.co/iUe4lnvZPb

Here’s Northam’s exact quote:
“The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that's what the mother & the family desired. And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother.”

Bernie Sanders is all over it, too:
This is completely false, and what a pathological liar and misogynist sounds like when he talks about abortion. Together, we must respect a woman’s right to control her own body. https://t.co/KQZ9JHgPbE
— Bernie Sanders (@BernieSanders) April 28, 2019
And Judd Legum:
ATTENTION AMERICA:
That is not what he does. He’s not slandering women and doctors unless they’ve wrapped an infant and allowed it to die. He’s simply explaining the process that was defended by the Democrat Governor in Virginia. By the way that same Governor wore black face! https://t.co/rlMohpvEn1

Of course, CNN is going to pretend Northam never said this exact thing:
Lol
Journos didn't just forget about Ralph Northam, they're actively trying to cover for him https://t.co/wo73fusSpL

The Atlantic’s Elaina Plott did push back on it, which was great to see:
It’s worth noting that @ElainaPlott pushed back a little later in the @ReliableSources segment, quoting Ralph Northam directly & pointing out that Trump’s comments aren’t coming from nowhere, but rather that they’re a direct response to what Northam said about late-term abortion.
