Patton Oswalt makes an early appearance in the 2020 Texas Senate race

Hollywood’s Patton Oswalt has made an early appearance in the 2020 Texas Senate campaign thanks to Dem Candidate, Mary Jennings “MJ” Hager, who included the actor in her “re-introduction” video:

SO proud to be in this re-introduction of the extraordinary @mjhegar! Go to https://t.co/6JTYt9bNJT

SHE’S IN. So are we! https://t.co/oEzrhhLr86

Hegar, who made a pretty good ad in 2018 before losing to Republican John Carter in the general election, is trying to recapture some of that viral magic in this run against incumbent GOP Sen. John Cornyn:

Unseating an entrenched incumbent senator is going to be tough, but I’ve faced worse odds in my life. Saddle up, Texas. I’m in. Join me at https://t.co/cDULHGNQXG https://t.co/Xbt0oB4xYD

And it looks like Cornyn will be making Hegar’s Hollywood fans a big part of the campaign:

Who got 65% of their donations from outside of Texas and was supported by Hollywood liberals like Rosie O’Donnell? TAKE THE QUIZ:

Cornyn is even using Oswalt’s old tweets against the Texas Dem:

Hollywood Hegar supporter and video guest star, Patton Oswalt, has tweeted some offensive comments over the years, reply A or B to let us know which one is more offensive to you: pic.twitter.com/gXgPvstK6V

And it’s going to get ugly:

Guys, if you’re offended by my “sailor talk” like the incel running the @TeamCornyn account is, put your outrage nickels in the swear jar below! https://t.co/6JTYt9bNJT https://t.co/szVCysDSZq
