So, “Green Book” won the Academy Award for Best Picture . . .
Congratulations Green Book for winning Best Picture! I’ve seen it 3 times and looking forward to seeing it 3 more.

And other than Magic Johnson, people are pissed:
Best Picture went to a movie directed by a guy whose two best movies featured putting jizz in one’s hair and jerking off bulls. The Kate Winslet bit from “Extras” was never so relevant.

You see, the movie that tackles race in America “is an embarrassment”:
“It reduces the long, barbaric and ongoing history of American racism to a problem, a formula, a dramatic equation that can be balanced and solved. GREEN BOOK is an embarrassment; the film industry’s unquestioning embrace of it is another.” https://t.co/lHoPtJcU5P

And the LA Times critic called it “the worst Best Picture winner since ‘Crash'”:

Oh, and it’s also inaccurate:
'Green Book' has won the Oscar for Best Picture. "The film has been criticized, including by Shirley’s family, for reported inaccuracies about the musician’s life…[and] it fails other black subjects, too." https://t.co/u2pLNHsxo4

According to reports, Spike Lee was “clearly furious” and he turned his back on the stage:
We’re hearing from an insider that when #GreenBook was announced the winner, Spike Lee was "clearly furious." He was pacing the aisle and stormed to the back of the auditorium. When he came back, he turned his back to the stage during the speech. #Oscars https://t.co/xoeWr56iRK

He also may have tried to leave the theater but was stopped because the doors were closed:
Spike Lee was visibly angry when "Green Book" was announced as the winner of best picture at the Oscars, waving his arms in disgust and appearing to try to storm out of the Dolby Theatre before he was stopped at the doors. He returned to his seat when the speeches were over.

Jordan Peele, the producer of “BlacKkKlansman,” which was also nominated for Best Picture, reportedly refused to clap:

Hey, anything is possible, right?
CNN's @ForecasterEnten says the chances of Bernie Sanders winning the Dem nomination are about the same as "Green Book" winning Best Picture at the Oscars.
