Well, well, well…
Things could get very interesting very fast in the Jussie Smollett investigation:
CPD has subpoenaed Smollett’s phone records, per a friend on the force. https://t.co/NuXHDejvJq

And Fox 32 reporter Rafer Weigel quotes Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson saying Smollett will be held accountable if it’s revealed that he did, in fact, make a false report:
#ChicagoPolice Supt Eddie Johnson says #JussieSmollett is still being treated as the victim in this case but if the investigation does reveal he made a false report he will be held accountable.

Weigel also reports that the police are trying to trace where the rope was purchased:
#ChicagoPolice say they are trying to match the rope that was around #JussieSmollett to its point of origin to see if there’s surveillance video showing the person who bought it.
