Fox News’ Bret Baier and his family were involved in a major car accident in Montana where they had been on a skiing vacation. Stephen Colbert broke the news last night as Baier was scheduled to appear on his show:

Baier reportedly tweeted this after leaving the hospital:

Baier later released a statement statement saying his family had left the hospital and was “banged up, but alive.”
