Sports Illustrated chose Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, the woman who accused Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault while the two were in high school, to present the magazine’s Inspiration of the Year award to Rachael Denhollander, the gymnast who was the first to publicly speak against Larry Nassar, former doctor for USA Gymnastics.
That’s right. Sports Illustrated just dropped a political bomb that links Kavanaugh to a convicted serial child molester:

It’s pretty clear that SI did this to promote the upcoming awards show which airs December 13 at 9 p.m. on NBCSN:
And she has what to do with sports exactly?

Does SI not see that these two women are not the same?
It is deeply discomfiting to see the media treat Blasey Ford as heroic like Denhollander when we have no idea whether any of her accusations are true, and we do know several people declined to confirm them. https://t.co/qYAEVAu0X8

My problem with this is equating Rachael Denhollander with Dr. Ford in any way. Nassar should rot in eternal hell. He was convicted. Denhollander showed tremendous courage by speaking out. However, the evidence does not support Ford’s accusations against Kavanaugh.

So @sinow picked Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser to give a sports award? Yikes. Get woke, go broke. (Company is currently for sale & headed towards bankruptcy.) https://t.co/t6NkiNX32d

Good luck, SI, because you’re going to need a lot of libs to subscribe to make up for what comes next:
Get bent. Canceling my subscription. I don't need woke virtue signaling from my sports mag. (And yes, I'm an actual subscriber.)

Woke SI, will equal broke SI.
Enjoy the cancellations.— December5150 (@eddieVH_2018) December 12, 2018
