TAKE A BOW, NPR: Totally bogus NPR story on Donald Trump Jr. made its way to CNN

Take a bow, NPR.

The totally bogus story in NPR that we told you about earlier on Donald Trump Jr. and Russia that has since been corrected made its way to CNN this afternoon courtesy of CNN National Security and Legal Analyst Sussan Hennessy. Have a watch;

And CNN analyst @Susan_Hennessey just made the same lie on-air

We did call out Hennessey for sharing the NPR article in one of our earlier posts:

A former CIA chief of operations retweeting a former NSA lawyer who is touting a fake story about Trump Jr.'s testimony. Hope these analytical failures weren't common in their previous work. pic.twitter.com/cPrCZyAXyK

And we eagerly await her, and CNN’s, correction:

This story went super-viral. The correction, walk-balk & retraction are barely being noted by those who hyped the original claim. This happens over & over, always in the same direction. Again: anti-media rhetoric can be dangerous, but media outlets often lay the groundwork for it https://t.co/V8UcoMQovS
