Rep. Eric Swalwell, who last week suggested deploying nuclear weapons on Americans, linked to this now iconic photo of a mother and her two kids running from tear gas at the border, saying “The little girl is not only unarmed, she unshoed. What’s weird, however, is that Rep. Swalwell didn’t have anything to say about the next tweet in that thread from NBC’s Breaking News account for some inexplicable reason. Wouldn’t he want his readers to know why the tear gas was deployed? It must’ve just been an oversight:
