As we told you last night, celebrity porn lawyer Michael Avenatti was “booked on a felony domestic violence charge” stemming from an incident with an as-of-yet identified woman:
6. LAPD confirms that Avenatti was booked on a felony domestic violence charge. His bail is set at $50,000.

Avenatti, apparently out of jail, tweeted last night that he “will not be intimidated into stopping my pursuit of justice and what is right”:
Thank you to everyone who has reached out with supportive messages and offers of assistance. It means the world to me. I have always been an advocate of women's rights and equality & I always will be. I will not be intimidated into stopping my pursuit of justice and what is right

And he denied he ever did anything wrong:
I want to be clear: I DID NOT commit domestic violence nor have I ever committed domestic violence. I did not strike any woman nor have I ever. I did not strike my ex-wife in the face nor did I hit anyone else in the face. I am a decent man & I look forward to being exonerated.

And to help make the case that he’s a “decent” guy, Avenatti shared statements from his two ex-wives (LOL):
The stmt issued earlier from Christine, my first wife. https://t.co/nNT0hmDu7H

And:
The stmt issued earlier from my second wife Lisa, together with stmts made to @mj_lee of CNN. https://t.co/ZgEsGuHtaS

Is anyone buying it?
5. This means nothing to me, his wife, according to her statement, is not the one accusing him of domestic violence. When other men do this I criticize them for it and I'll do it here. https://t.co/IwvKfs0nxz

And, yes, Michael Avenatti is innocent until proven guilty, but his celebrity client Stormy Daniels did put him on notice over the arrest:
