Earlier today, Palm Beach elections supervisor Susan Bucher banned the media from filming the public ballot counting and threatened them with arrest:

How much more will it take to convince skeptics that what is happening in Palm Beach & #BrowardCounty is not a normal elections process? https://t.co/NzoNAYCZFN

What part of “public” did she not understand?
This is a public canvassing board meeting in Broward, why are the media not being allowed inside??? @nbc6 pic.twitter.com/H3oxhf9itZ

Bucher ordered cops to keep the journos out:

According to Bucher, it was because there were signatures on the ballots:
Susan Bucher, the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, says news crews cannot record the Canvassing Board as it reviews Vote By Mail & Provisional Ballots bc “signatures are on the table”. Media companies ended up suing Bucher over it:

And they won:

Bucher went on to say “the nation’s highest elected officials are trying to disrupt democracy,” which she didn’t want the media to disrupt as well:

It’s a race thing, you see:
JUST IN: Facing criticism from Pres. Trump, Sen. Rubio, Gov. Scott and other Republicans, Palm Beach Co. supervisor of elections says it's “unfortunate” that they “are trying to disrupt our democracy because they don’t like the demographics of our voters.” https://t.co/XgxNvfogar pic.twitter.com/CKFLNNseOa
