We’ve all had delayed flights because of weather, but what we have never, ever had was a pilot that this one from American Airlines who ordered a reported 40 pizzas from Papa John’s for passengers after the flight was redirected to Wichita Falls, TX and then cancelled because of bad weather:
@AmericanAir Bad weather, holding, diverting AA now holds the biggest pizza @PapaJohns delivery order in Wichita Falls, TX when the Captain of #2354 took it upon himself to order 40 pizzas for the passengers after landing and the flight cancelled. He hand delivered them! pic.twitter.com/19S7NrpN73

According to the poster of the video, this was flight 2354 from Los Angeles to Dallas:
This was sent to me from someone at the Shepherd Air Field who is based there and observed it from the civilian side. Flight 2354 originally LAX -DFW/6Sep

Great move by the captain, but we will expect pizza on all delayed flights from now on.
