'Please make this happen!!!!': Patton Oswalt catcalls Ben Shapiro, challenges him to a debate

We missed this from last week. Who’s ready for a Ben Shapiro–Patton Oswalt debate?

Why does Ben Shapiro want to debate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez? He’s not running for office. He should debate me. I’m also a short clown no one takes seriously. #fun

Libs seem up for it:

I’d pay to watch you shred him#BenShapiroChallenge https://t.co/8ECXf2yODV

And they don’t think Ben is up for it:

Nice try Patton. You may be shorter, but you aren’t a clown, and a lot of smart people take you seriously. @benshapiro doesn’t deserve your subtlety. https://t.co/3fsJKPVHny

But with costumes? That just sounds weird:

I like this, but I'd like it better if there was a Dr. Zaius outfit involved, @danagould or maybe @hodgman's Ayn Rand. Definitely calls for a costume. https://t.co/FBYsVLhI6D
