In a now deleted tweet, Sally Kohn used the firing of Roseanne Barr by ABC over her racist tweet to promote her book and it didn’t go over very well with Teen Vogue’s Lauren Duca:
Just to be clear, you are waiting less than a full day to ask how Roseanne can be forgiven for overt racism AND using it to promote your book?

It’s crystal clear and that’s EXACTLY what Sally did. Screenshot:
This is like the Black Swan of garbage Twitter. Sally is the ageing disenchanted Natalie Portman being edged out by Duca Mila Kunis. pic.twitter.com/IrDEBzixUF

It’s a “wokeoff”!
Look out everyone. The lefties are having a wokeoff… https://t.co/pXP7MNFCh4

Kohn later scolded her followers for not understanding her “nuance”:
Sheesh, Twitter don’t like nuance.
I am NOT suggesting that Rosanne be forgiven. Indeed I tweeted today and many times in the past about her pattern of hate. All I meant was that we have to do more than just call out hate but also create opportunities for learning and change.— Sally Kohn (@sallykohn) May 30, 2018
