Alfie Evans has passed away:
Alfie Evans, who wasn't allowed to go to Italy for life support, has passed away.
Doctors had suggested this, & under British law, courts intervene when parents & doctors disagree over a child's treatment.
Government has the ultimate say, because government runs healthcare.

Let us pray that the U.K. learns from this and never, ever lets it happen again:
I hope poor Alfie’s death leads to changes in Britain. What kind of civilized nation holds a child hostage when his parents want to seek medical care abroad? Horrifying
