As we told you on Sunday, probably the most newsworthy part of James Comey’s interview with Clinton hack George Stephanopoulos was when the former FBI director said that President Donald Trump should not be impeached and that the voters should ultimately decide his fate.
Here’s the clip again ICYMI:

We predicted that this wouldn’t go over very well with the Left, and we’re starting to see some pushback.
Here’s MSNBC’s Ari Melber with the metaphorical drop kick:
Bob Mueller's probe is far from complete, but James Comey is now prejudging the outcome and potential response. It's like 2016, but for 2018. https://t.co/f8a8xw6pcv

Watch Melber’s segment here where he criticizes Comey for, once again, “inserting himself in an open probe without all the facts”:
By ruling out potential “impeachment” before Mueller even finishes his investigation, James Comey is again inserting himself in an open probe without all the facts.

Melber is correct here. As a law enforcement officer, why would Comey care about the politics of it at all?
