Stoneman Douglas HS student activist David Hogg is calling on his supporters to boycott Laura Ingraham’s advertisers after the Fox News host commented on Hogg’s recent interview with TMZ where he said he was rejected from 4 state colleges California:
Soooo @IngrahamAngle what are your biggest advertisers … Asking for a friend. #BoycottIngramAdverts

Apparently Hogg was responding to this tweet:
David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.) https://t.co/wflA4hWHXY

Many verified accounts are on board:
Laura Ingraham is a middle-aged mean girl who picked the wrong high school student to attack. https://t.co/tspepPMhOP

I stand with @davidhogg111. It’s acceptable to disagree with his politics. It’s another to resort to online bullying and shaming of kids who, agree with them or not, are trying their best to make this world a better place, as @IngrahamAngle has done. Let the advertisers know. https://t.co/OshTEFKwKc

Every single one of these companies must cut ties with garbage human @IngrahamAngle for her heartless attack on school shooting survivors #FireIngraham https://t.co/Y4yTJl9BSR

But, as usual, fellow student Kyle Kashuv makes more sense:
You can run around calling everyone a child murderer, viciously smear @DLoesch, say he isn't attacking @MarcoRubio hard enough, but, if you tweet out an article that points out that he didn't get into college he launches a boycott against you trying to drive you out of business. https://t.co/NevslSVUJ0
