We really don’t know what to make of this, but here are 8 videos of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad driving himself to meet with the troops in the town of Ghouta, near Damascus.
Reuters reported earlier that Assad did make the trip:
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday visited Syrian soldiers who appear close to defeating the last major opposition foothold near Damascus and met some of the many thousands of people uprooted during the government offensive.
And this appears to be Assad now taunting the rebels:
