Uh oh.
Missouri Republican Governor Eric Greitens is under fire after a bombshell report from channel KMOV that accused him of blackmailing a former hairdresser to keep quiet over an admitted extramarital affair:

The story, if true, gets ugly fast:

According to the woman who Greitens has admitted to having an affair with, he took a photograph of her without her consent while she was taped to some exercise equipment in his basement:
“He used some sort of tape and taped my hands to these rings and then put a blindfold on me. I saw a flash through the blindfold and he said: “You're never going to mention my name, or there will be pictures everywhere.” — Missouri GOP Gov Eric Greitens’ former mistress, on tape. https://t.co/vD0zTJpilD

The governor and his wife released a joint statement saying they’ve “emerged stronger” from all of this:

Quite a kicker: "I want the media and those who wish to peddle gossip to stay away from me and my children." #MOLeg pic.twitter.com/XCRGFJFiX2

But this might not go over so well with other Missouri Republicans:
Missouri GOP lawmaker tells me:
"Eric Greitens spent a year calling every Republican in the state corrupt. I’ll be shocked if any of them stand up for him as an alleged blackmailing psychopath."

Including Dana Loesch, who wants answers:
How they settled the affair in their hearts is their business (I have a stronger opinion on that issue), but the alleged blackmail?? That requires answers. #moleg https://t.co/V8SlPwN2Vd

To be continued, for sure.
