Francesca Parisella, a reporter for Italy’s Matrix Channel 5 in Rome, was attacked on live television earlier this week outside of train station while doing a segment on refugees who have entered Italy and were attempting to make their way to northern Europe.
The report starts with Parisella outside of the central terminal in Rome and shows a number of refugees who are spending the night on the street. Then, out of nowhere, the camera drops and Parisella shouts, via the translation, “they’re attacking us!” Then more screams are heard before the networks shuts off the feed.

Thankfully Parisella wasn’t injured and was rescued by a cab driver named Roberto (translation: Roberto saved my life):
