FAKE NEWS ALERT: SPLC contradicts own tweet with its post-election report on 'hate incidents'

The SPLC unleashed a tweetstorm this morning after releasing a report detailing “Harassment and Intimidation in the Aftermath of the Election.”

Of the many tweets, however, this one caught our eye. Focus on the word “confirmed”:

But when you click through and actually read the report, you quickly find that those 867 “confirmed” reports are no such thing:

In other word, this is “fake news.” Why can’t they just be honest?
