The FBI just released 129 pages of its 2001 investigation into the Clinton Foundation and the pardon of Marc Rich

Ka-boom?

The FBI has decided to start releasing records on their past investigation into the Clinton Foundation with one week to go in the 2016 election (LOL!):

From the FBI:

This initial release consists of material from the FBI’s files related to the William J. Clinton Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The bulk of these records come from a 2001 FBI investigation into the pardon of Marc Rich (1934-2013), aka Marcell David Reich, by President Clinton in 2001; it was closed in 2005. The material is heavily redacted due to personal privacy protections and grand jury secrecy rules.

“Heavily redacted” is right. It’s 129 pages of white boxes, like this:

Many are commenting on the time of this release. Is it payback for Clinton’s blasting of the FBI?

Well, John Podesta did call on the FBI to start releasing all of the information it had…

Best. Election. Ever.
