Hillary Clinton spox mocks Donald Trump over fast food

Donald Trump has wrapped up his appearance with Dr. Oz, and we’re starting to get some feedback from audience members on how it went (it airs in full on Thursday.)

According to reports, Trump was questioned on his love of fast food and the GOP nominee didn’t back down:

This didn’t sit well with Jesse Lehrich, a spokesman for Hillary Clinton:

One, is team Clinton really going to go after Trump for speaking about his health and medical history? And two, we’re pretty sure Donald Trump knows exactly what he’s talking about as he went into much more detail with Anderson Cooper on why he eats fast food, as reported in the New York Times:

But Mr. Trump, who frets about germs and prizes cleanliness, also loves fast food because of its consistency and the promise, at least, of a basic level of hygiene.

“One bad hamburger, you can destroy McDonald’s. One bad hamburger, you take Wendy’s and all these other places and they’re out of business,” Mr. Trump told Mr. Cooper of CNN. “I’m a very clean person. I like cleanliness, and I think you’re better off going there than maybe someplace that you have no idea where the food’s coming from. It’s a certain standard.”

Still, he added, “I think the food’s good.”

Agree with this or not, but it’s glorious to watch liberal elites freak out over Trump’s self-professed love of fast food.

And we should point out that Americans love their fast food, too:

As if on cue, The Atlantic’s Christopher Orr weighs in:

Fast food is only a plus if you’re a Dem, apparently:
