Not good. Check out the expression of this U.S. Marine after Donald Trump attempts to correct her question on veteran suicides at last night’s Commander-in-Chief forum (22 suicides per day is the old number; 20 is correct):

Not only does the woman shake her head, but so does the man over her right shoulder. Journos were quick to bash Trump over the error:
"Actually, it's 22." — Trump literally just corrected a veteran with a wrong stat on military suicides per day (it's 20)#NBCNewsForum

Ah, correcting the veteran asking you the question but actually being wrong. Recent estimates put suicides at 20. (Obviously, 1 is too many)

And @realDonaldTrump corrects a veteran who cites the correct vets suicide number. "It's actually 22."
Latest VA number is 20. #CICForum

Trump corrects veteran who asks about 20 veterans a day committing suicide. Says it's 22. It's actually 20 –> https://t.co/qSLrxcQjIf

It’s a strange gaffe for the GOP nominee as he’s gotten the number right in the past:
he's gotten it right before, but not tonight https://t.co/ziASE0dw0B https://t.co/VPY297XWhI
