Oh, come on!
#BREAKING: Russian government hackers broke into DNC servers, stole Trump oppo https://t.co/nGxcZzTs1L pic.twitter.com/IAn9qN5DIV
— POLITICO (@politico) June 14, 2016
According to Politico, the hackers had access to DNC servers for a year:
The hackers had access to the information for approximately one year but were all cleared out over the last weekend, the Post reported, noting that the DNC said that no personal, financial or donor information had been accessed or taken.
More from the Washington Post:
The intruders so thoroughly compromised the DNC’s system that they were able to read all email and chat traffic https://t.co/La3gqtnIy5

Well, what do you expect from the party that ignores Hillary Clinton’s homebrew email server:
@SonnyBunch @nakashimae Media thinks the bathroom server fiasco is a joke; this BS opsec has real, high stakes consequences

GOP political action committees were targeted, too:

— Reuters (@Reuters) June 14, 2016
Neither the Trump or Clinton campaigns responded to the Washington Post when asked about the extent of the Russian infiltration:
The Clinton campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A spokeswoman for the Trump campaign referred questions to the Secret Service.
We really do need to know how much worse this is, and fast:
Part of attacks on multiple campaign networks and both parties. DNC first to discuss scale of intrusion. https://t.co/0Rqbs0JmXN
