So, this tweet from Fox News quoting Eric Bolling caught our eye:

In other words, 12.7 million Republicans voted for someone other than Donald Trump leaving him with only 39.5% of the vote? If Bolling’s point was that Trump doesn’t have anywhere close to a majority of the votes cast this year, well done!

But since we live in a representative democracy, doesn’t this justify an open convention since none of the three candidates still in the race have a neither a majority of the votes nor a majority of delegates?
