TMZ caught up with conservative bad-ass Clint Eastwood in Hollywood over the weekend and asked him about this year’s controversy at the Oscars. His answer? Awesome, of course:

I don’t anything about it. All I know is there’s thousands of people in the Academy and a lot of them — the majority of them — haven’t won Oscars. Lot of people are crying I guess.”

Clint Eastwood has 4 Oscars himself: Best Picture and Director for “Unforgiven” and Best Picture and Director for “Million Dollar Baby.” He’s also been honored by the Academy with the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.
