New polling out of Iowa suggests a method to the Ted Cruz birther madness

A new poll out from Public Policy Polling suggests that Ted Cruz’s Canadian birth might be a problem for the candidate on caucus day with 47% of Iowa Republicans saying someone who is born outside of the U.S. shouldn’t be allowed to run for president:
