#FeelTheBern? David Axelrod: 'looks like @DNC is putting finger on scale'

Former Obama adviser David Axelrod came out strongly against the Democratic National Committee in a series of tweets tonight over the ongoing scandal surrounding Bernie Sanders’ staff improperly accessing Hillary Clinton’s private voter data:

W/out evidence that his hierarchy knew about data-poaching, harsh penalty v. @BernieSanders looks like @DNC is putting finger on scale.

The disproportionate @dnc reaction actually got @BernieSanders crew off the hook for their own stupidity. Not helpful to @HillaryClinton.

If I were @HillaryClinton, I'd would have much preferred to see @BernieSanders campaign stew in its own juices.

But not so fast, David. Team Clinton sounds like they’re on board with the DNC’s disciplinary action:

As for Sanders, he filed a lawsuit against the DNC earlier today in an attempt to get access to the voter data:

And he’s cancelled a rally in New Hampshire ahead of tomorrow’s Democratic debate:

Tomorrow’s debate should be a little more interesting at least.
