Earlier in tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards show, actress Rebel Wilson “stripped” out of fake police officer’s uniform to unveil this classless undergarment:
I'm guessing MTV didn't OK this shirt. #VMAs2015 pic.twitter.com/MisT5S81PZ

It was a stupid joke, but protester DeRay Mckesson wasn’t laughing, especially since Wilson was presenting Nicki Minaj with the award for Best Hip-Hop Video:
.@RebelWilson/@MTV, police violence isn't a joke, as the deaths of #TamirRice, #RekiaBoyd, #FreddieGray, #MikeBrown, & #MyaHall remind us.

If the police kill someone you love, would it be a funny joke, then? https://t.co/ayMS8YC1Yj

When's the last time you heard a Holocaust, Sandy Hook, or Columbine joke at an awards show? Exactly. https://t.co/mBnjbra3QP

@electrolemon @jordan_budd Rebel Wilson's "stripper police" was a mockery of the past year and the lives of those killed by the police.

Sorry, DeRay, but Nicki Minaj thought it was funny:
