SPOILER ALERT: Tomorrow’s ‘Game of Thrones’ outrage, tonight

So it looks like Sen. Claire McCaskill was on to something when she stopped watching HBO’s “Game of Thrones” after the brutal scene of fan-favorite Sansa Stark getting raped on her wedding night.

Tonight’s episode featuring another fan favorite from this season, King Stannis Baratheon, letting his daughter Shireen get burned alive as a sacrifice to the god R’hllor!

(Update: Recap of the episode here.)

Fans of the show are pissed, to say the least:

Well, Stannis *had* been growing on me.

What the literal hell are you doing, Stannis. #NotTheMannisRightNow

Admittedly, Stannis & Melisandre are reprehensible. But geopolitically speaking there's not much good to be said about people of Meereen.

Before today, I had a harder time reasoning Book Stannis shouldn't be king. Show Stannis just made up my mind! DANY FOREVER. #GameofThrones
