New 'surprise' January 6 witness means Liz Cheney will be interrogating her opponent's campaign manager on TV. Sounds legit!

The January 6 committee announced its witnesses for Monday’s hearing a few hours ago, including former Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien along with former Fox News editor Chris Stirewalt and BJay Pak, former U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia:

Stepien is reportedly appearing under subpoena:

Keith Olbermann seems particularly excited about this “jaw-dropping surprise” witness. “He was still considered Trump-adjacent as late as…(checks watch) this morning,” Olbmerann tweeted:

Stepien is also the campaign manager for Harriet Hageman, who’s challenging Liz Cheney in Wyoming:

To summarize things, Liz Cheney will be interrogating her opponent’s campaign manager on Monday on live television. Sounds legit!

From Taylor Budowich, comms director for former President Trump and Save America: “This circus is beyond an embarrassment and will forever stain the integrity of congress.”

Politico’s Kyle Cheney says Stepien *could* have avoided testifying if he had wanted to:
