Harvard professor and CNN analyst’s plan to end the blockade on the Ambassador Bridge has one fatal flaw

Traffic to the U.S. isn’t blocked at this time according to the Windsor Police:

Although the Ambassador Bridge is not closed US bound, the presence of demonstrators are making it difficult to access the bridge. We urge all motorists to avoid both access points to the bridge. All those attempting to cross the Ambassador Bridge should expect significant delays

Goods are still getting into Canada over other crossings, but with delays:

Police have not yet decided what to do to end the blockade:

So, what should they do? Harvard professor and CNN analyst Juliette Kayyem says the blockade is now an “economic and security issue” and authorities in Canada should “Slash the tires, empty gas tanks, arrest the drivers, and move the trucks”:

Um, do they not teach at Harvard how trucks work? If the goal is to clear the blockade, might we suggest *not* slashing the tires of the vehicles? Other than that, good tweet!
