Soledad O’Brien, everyone:
Welp, I guess we've put to rest the question: "Nazi Germany: Could it happen here in America?"

And we’ll just let Townhall’s Katie Pavlich speak for all of us:
This is complete bullsh*t. https://t.co/l7iKY4qw7t

More from Ben Shapiro:
Yes Nazi Germany was famous for its tolerance of people decrying governmental policy https://t.co/Wg1Jvc2izV

O’Brien later lashed out at a critic with a “just asking questions” defense:
Oh? I must've missed the SS running roughshod in the streets and Gestapo members spying on dissidents at Starbucks… Where?

You see, we’re the ones reading her tweet incorrectly:
'Could it happen here' vs 'is it happening here'. Learn to read. Blessings!

They’ve all gone insane:
The Holocaust brought about by Nazi Germany resulted in the murder of 6 million Jews in Europe. 2/3 of the Jewish population there. The notion that anything remotely similar is taking place in America today- or to seek moral equivalence – has me sickened beyond words #tcot https://t.co/RnGPgn8By5

The policy of separating children from their parents is cruel and it must be stopped.
Comparing it to the way Jewish children were treated by the Nazis is insane and disrespectful to the millions of Jewish children who were gassed by the Nazis. https://t.co/9MZ4u621HT

As I sit in a VA waiting room looking around at various ages, races, religions and wars I see people who have every reason to not like each other. But one simple thing compels us to love one another, we’re Americans, we’re proud humble and committed to this country. ???? https://t.co/PYoGAUNHiP
